Post-it® Note Pixel Art
Bring your online creations to life!
Using technology is a big part of learning, so why not use it for creating art. By using Post-it® Super Sticky Notes students can take the picture that they created on their computer and share it with the rest of the class or school in a big way. This activity allows students to use their computer technology skills as well as their tactile skills to create large and bright works of art for all to enjoy.
Materials:

Grade: 4-8
Subject: Math and/or Art
Goal: Creating art by transforming an image/scene into a pixel art picture

- Students will select an image
- Using grid paper or Excel®, students will recreate the image by colouring in squares according to the original image.

- Students will then use the image that they created on grid paper or Excel® as a guide to create the pixel art using Post-it® Super Sticky Notes on a large surface.

- Math/Coding connection - Students can use colour codes on Excel® to create colours.
