Every year in March, some of the world’s brightest entrepreneurs converge on Austin, TX to attend South By Southwest (SXSW). Naturally, the Post-it® Brand was on hand to help their ideas and ambitions take center stage.

GIVING GREAT IDEAS A PROPER STAGE

There are over 20 million startups in the U.S. today - plus, an estimated 320 new entrepreneurs for every 100,000 adults. It’s a healthy amount of competition to be sure…but it also means a lot of great ideas struggle to be heard.

Our mission at SXSW was simple: take a handful of startups and give them a proper stage. We even created the stage ourselves:

 

The Post-it® Idea Booth — a fully functioning pitch studio complete with pitch coaches, illustrator, director and edit suite.

 

The Post-it® Idea Booth team was able to work with each startup team to craft their story and capture it with a custom pitch video. New technologies were revealed. Inspiring stories were shared. And at the end of the experience, we created 20 finished videos over the course of four days that participants were proud to share with investors, audiences and people just like you. Style is a statement. And School Of Moxie delivers not only on fashionable looks but also the ethical choices and responsibilities we all make when choosing (or even making) our clothes.


Wipster

It’s not easy to communicate and receive feedback on visual ideas. Wipster makes it easy. Simply mark up storyboards, videos and more in real-time and cut out the second-guessing altogether.


Jarvis Boards

We’ve all dreamed of leaving our jobs. Tony Smith simply rowed away. Follow his story as he abandoned his career to follow his true passion: designing standup wood paddle boards.


EVERNOTE GIVES POST-IT® NOTES A DIGITAL DIMENSION.

Post-it® Products are a natural fit for personal productivity. Same goes for Evernote. So what happens when these two approaches merge into a seamless experience?

We answered this question with Post-it® Brand + Evernote demonstrations that showed just how easy it is to integrate your Post-it® Notes with the Evernote app. However, we kept it relevant to the event with notes highlighting SXSW-centric topics (i.e. “Best Food & Drink in Austin”, “What I learned at SXSW”, etc.)

Attendees could simply jot their thoughts on a Post-it® Note, capture it with Evernote and express themselves, as they saw fit. Explore Post-it® Brand + Evernote

We not only helped people collaborate at SXSW — we also gave them the essentials to continue building on their ideas whenever and wherever they chose.
