Education

01

Hook ‘Em Up
Lay the Post-it Notes down side by side (color side down). Join them together with tape.

02

Get Crinkling
Fold your paper into nice, even crinkles like an accordion.

03

Come Together
Grab the two ends, and pull them together. Flip it over and tape the loose ends together.

04

Smoosh and Set
The pinwheel will pop up on its own. Just smoosh it down flat when it does. To make the smoosh permanent, take a small dowel or toothpick and tape or glue it to the ridges in the back. Do this again with the second dowel creating an X shape.

Time for the pièce de résistance. You can use string to tie it to the pencil in back, or just glue it on. To make it extra fabulous take a colorful button and place it over the center of the pinwheel.

And now you should have a lovely pinwheel to hang in your office or bedroom. Experiment with different patterns, colors, and paper textures. They all look great together!
